International Game developers Association (IGDA) Japan chapter announces that on 23th June 2012, the association held its first meeting for the purpose of incorporating it as a non-profitable organization. It aims to complete the registration process and re-launch as an NPO in January 2013.
The association’s goal to support Japanese game industry and its communities, and it believes incorporating as an NPO is a step forward to achieve the goal.
